There is a room where one can hear the local custom song sung during wedding ceremonies! Quite interesting also for its beautiful architecture featuring traditional Persian dome style ceilings.
If you can only visit one hammam in Iran, the Vakil Bath is the one to see. The physical space is impressive on its own, but the expert dioramas bring the stones to vivid life. Not only the remarkably lifelike depictions of bath clientele and activities, but rich, evocative soundscapes create a remarkably realistic atmosphere. Thoroughly delightful, and a shutterbug’s paradise.
